Why Use Brainbreaks?

All students need to move and interact to learn effectively. Challenging the learning state of an individual 2-3 times an hour can make a huge difference in attention and in 'storage and retrieval' of information.

Brainbreaks are fun! Laughter and anticipation are great states for learning and many brainbreaks allow students to experience levity and novelty in the day. This in turn may result in students developing better attitudes about learning.
